  • Greg Schick - Creative Director

    Greg has lived in the Atlanta area for over 15 years and worked since 2016 as a director and acting coach on more than 90 youth theatre productions. Greg received his Master of Arts in Theatre Education from the University of Northern Colorado and his bachelor’s degree in Broadcasting and Theatre from the University of Nebraska. Prior to his work in theatre, he produced concerts, music festivals, music, and film.

  • Meredith Bennett - High School Program Director/Owner & Voice Teacher at Finding Your Voice Vocal Studio

    Meredith began performing at a young age while growing up in Dallas, TX. She worked professionally as a child voiceover actor/singer on Barney, Kids Worship 100, and commercials. After graduating Baylor University with her BFA in Musical Theatre Performance, she lived and performed in NYC and then eventually, found her way to Atlanta. Meredith has been teaching, directing, and music directing for the past five years and opened her own vocal studio, Finding Your Voice (which now partners with Firefly) last year. She is now an Atlanta based actress, having worked with companies such as The Atlanta Opera, The Legacy Theatre, Netflix, and Tyler Perry Studios. “Teaching has brought back so much of my original raw love for musical theatre and singing. I feel so lucky to get to work with students who love this art as much as Ido. Teaching is truly one of my greatest joys.”

  • Alex Self - Choreographer

    Alex found the love of dance at the young age of three and enjoys sharing her passion with the next generation. She grew up in a competitive studio and competed for 9 years. She studied with various choreographers and instructors in several styles but found a strong love for Musical Theatre. She graduated from Baylor University in 2016 with a BFA in Theatre Performance where she continued to study and practice dance. Baylor is where she began choreographing. She was an assistant choreographer for main stage productions including; Legally Blonde and Love Labour’s Lost and had the opportunity to choreograph for productions directed by MFA students and various scenes throughout her time at Baylor. After graduating she moved to Orlando, Florida where she was a professional dancer and performed in several shows and parades at Walt Disney World Resort. In 2019 she made the move to Atlanta and found the love of Choreographing and Directing Youth Theatre. When Ms. Alex is not spending her time choreographing; you can find her baking in the kitchen, snuggling with her dog or eating her way through Atlanta.

  • Katie Berger Wood - Junior Musical Director/Director

    Katie Berger Wood (she/her) is a theatre educator, musician, playwright, and composer based in the Atlanta area. After graduating from Northern Kentucky University with her BFA in Musical Theatre Performance, she performed professionally all over the country before discovering her ultimate dream role - Ms. Katie! She holds her Masters in Theatre Education from the University of Northern Colorado and loves to create artistic spaces for young people to discover their authentic voices. As an educator, she specializes in musical theatre, devised work, and creative drama. Katie is the playwright and composer of FullWillow Wood, and Mystery Trackers: The Musical, and her original musicals have been produced in Tampa, NYC, Nashville, and the Atlanta area. Her favorite thing in the world is discovering and telling stories with her students - “the stories still unfolding, the magic we’re still holding.”
